Turn our Weihnachtsmarkt into an opportunity to have a great time with family and friends...while benefiting the Sisters and residents at SAH! We’d love to have your help at one of our craft days. If you’re interested in assisting, contact Sr. Mary Joseph at (314)965-7616.
Many thanks to Teri Huber and Joyce Dorsey for pulling off an outstanding Women’s Club fall luncheon for our ladies here at St. Agnes Home once again! After toasting with champagne cocktails, dining sumptuously on a completely homemade meal including shrimp creole on rice, and devouring a delicious hot apple crisp (also homemade) topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert, the ladies welcomed their guest speaker, Scott from Walter Knoll Florist. Scott brought with him a whole lot of flowers (thank you Walter Knoll!) and even more wit, as he shared in a most entertaining manner about this fall’s most popular floral trends for weddings.Looking for more of Scott? He can be seen the first of every month on KTVI channel 2.

Our first ever Women's Club luncheon was a huge success! Thanks to the teamwork of Teri Huber and Joyce Dorsey, the ladies enjoyed a girl's day - IN! The Social Hall was transformed into a luncheon hall complete with pink table settings and rose arrangements. Valentine's Day cards personally designed by our little neighbors from the Carmelite Child Development Center were found at each place setting. To the delight of many, champagne cocktails were served, and everyone enjoyed one another over delicious Italian dishes. Homemade cookies were the real sensation! Yum! St. Agnes Home was pleased to welcome Jean Jackson (below), a former news reporter, as the guest speaker. At the end of an enjoyable and enriching afternoon, five lucky ladies left with the door prizes, rose arrangements, but everyone left with smiles! We can't wait until our next meeting in May! Blue table settings will adorn the Social Hall as we honor the month Our Lady and Mother's Day. Thanks again, Teri and Joyce!
St. Agnes Home hailed a new king and queen at our annual Mardi Gras ball. King Henry Westphale and Queen Jeanine Batterton rose to the throne amidst much cheer and adulation. Many thanks to all who participated in this regal night and congratulations to our new king and queen. Please give them an honorable bow if you pass them in the hall!

On the Feast of Corpus Christi we had the honor and privilege of holding an evening Eucharistic procession on our beautiful grounds. Two outdoor altars lovingly decorated by the Sisters added to the occassion. The procession included the particpation of some residents, the Sisters, and family and friends of St. Agnes Home. Truly, the source and summit of our faith, the Holy Eucharist, gives us as Sisters continual nourishment to carry out our mission to those whom we serve.
