Vocation Retreat 2012
VOCATION RETREAT
This retreat is for single Catholic women, age 17-29, who are considering the religious life and interested in learning more about Carmel DCJ.

Retreats will include:
• Talks given by the sisters focusing on discernment, religious life, and Carmel.
• Prayers and recreation with the Sisters
• Time to talk with other young women discerning God's call
• An opportunity for silence and solitude

CARMELITE DAY 2013
April 20 for 6th-7th grade girls
April 27 for 8th-11th grade girls
This retreat is for 6th-11th grade girls who would like to spend some time getting to know us and our way of life as Carmelite Sisters DCJ.
While having a special emphasis on the unfathomable mystery of the Eucharist during this year of faith, participants will also learn about religious life and, in particular, about the way of life of the Carmelites D.C.J. Carmelite Day will begin with Holy Mass at 9 a.m. The schedule of the day will include talks by the Sisters, time for prayer and reflection including chanting of the Divine Office with the Sisters, and, of course, fun. The event will conclude at 4:30 pm after adoration and benediction.
Carmelite Day this year will take place on two separate days, one for younger girls and one for older girls. If for any reason you would like to register for the date which does not correspond to your grade level, please contact Sr .Mary Michael to discuss this possibility.

“Sequela Christi” – Following Christ
Thursdays in July (except for July 4th)
What: A series of volunteer days including the opportunity to join in the apostolate, prayer, and recreation of the Carmelites D.C.J
Note: Each date is completely separate. Participants may attend every date, but are not required to do so.
Who: Young women ages 15-25
When: 2 - 8 pm
Schedule:
• 2 pm volunteer with residents at St. Agnes Home/ children at the Carmelite Child Development Center
• 4:15 discussion/talk by a priest or sister
• 5:00 Chanting of Vespers (Evening Prayer) with the sisters followed by half hour of silent prayer
• 6:00 supper at St. Agnes Home
• 7:00 Recreation with the sisters
• Participants are welcome to remain for 8:00 Compline (Night Prayer) with the sisters

HOLINESS RETREAT
Fall 2013
Deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ through a weekend focused on HIM with the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus. Retreatants will have the opportunity to join in the prayer life of the Sisters, hear talks given on the theme, and connect and share with other young women who desire to grow in holiness.
These retreats are for single, Catholic women, age 17-29, who want to grow in holiness and would enjoy getting to know the sisters.
